National Read A Book Day

The benefits of reading are enourmous.  Not just to improve literary and vocabulary skills, it can also help with bullying.  Whether it’s fiction or non-fiction reading can be a great way to develop empathy and understanding. It is a way to escape your own life and troubles, can take you to distant lands and put you in the shoes of others.  For children who are suffering from bullying it can also  help reduce stress, aid in good sleep habits and improve concentration.

This is why we are asking you to support The National Read A Book Day on 6th September and Act Against Bullying too.

Read against bullying and raise funds for us this September. Challenge yourself to read for an hour a day for 30 days or complete a full book series.

Create a fundraising page and get your family and friends to sponsor your challenge to  raise donations  for us
